Aled Thomas Psychology welcomes referrals from GPs for adolescents, adults, couples, and older clients seeking psychological support in Clifton Hill and nearby areas of Melbourne.
I offer evidence-based psychological assessment, treatment planning, and therapy tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

Practice location:
I currently have a short wait list of 1-2 weeks and keep 3 appointments free each week for urgent, new referrals.
Appointments are offered Thursdays and Fridays, in-person or via telehealth, starting 19 March 2026.

Referrals Better Suited to Other Services
Some concerns may require specialist expertise. I have limited experience in:
- Eating disorders
- Substance use (including alcohol)
- Forensic or youth justice matters
Communication with Referring GPs
With patient consent, I maintain clear communication with referring GPs. Typically:
- A brief confirmation after the first session to confirm attendance
- A progress update and treatment plan after about 4–5 sessions
- A final update toward the end of treatment or as per the mental health care plan requirements
I am also available for earlier communication if clinically relevant issues arise. GPs may contact me for brief phone discussions about referrals.
